In my last post I wrote about my commitment to eating healthier. One of the things that I’m doing is eating more vegetables and drinking water and staying away from sugary drinks. Several days ago my grandson and I went to one of my favorite salad places. I wanted something for lunch, but I didn’t want to get anything that was too heavy so I decided to get a salad and it was a really really good decision. It was a great salad. It contained grilled chicken, strawberries, blueberries, granola, and nuts. I think I covered all of the food groups.
I think the changes that I’ve made concerning my eating habits are working. I am pleased that the weight is coming off finally. I am immensely proud of myself. Sometimes, I have to look in the mirror and pause. This is a remarkable journey.
